gotta love the little sandpipers at the lake.  they were so fun to watch and photograph.  these guys would come within 6 feet and not bat an eye.

the light was just right in the morning and they were all looking for breakfast.

shooting with the 70-300vr lens i had to make sure i stayed back at least 6 feet because of the minimum focusing distance (mfd) of the lens.
