a trip to oregon

ducky and i had the privilege  of traveling to oregon to have a day of private tutoring with laurie excell.  i had no idea what to expect for our day of tutoring but was put at ease when she greated us at her door step with a big smile and a friendly welcome.

we started out with coffee and smoothies at starbucks to start the day and then it was off to the Columbia Gorge to shoot the early morning light.  it sure didn’t disappoint.

oregon is still in the midst of changing fall colors so capturing all that saturation was great fun.

from there we went to Latourell Falls.

and finally we finished our shoot at Multnomah Falls.

thanks laurie for the wonderful day of (much needed) suggestions and words of affirmation.  ducky would also like to say thanks for all the food.
