this silver thing caught my eye and just needed to be photographed. i love the narrow depth of field (dof) in this shot.
i used my new extention tubes to assist in this one. i attached all three kenko extention tubes to my d90 and put on the 70-300 vr lens. now, normally the 70-300 vr lens has about a six foot minimum focusing distance (mfd) but with all of the extension tubes the mfd is around an inch at 70mm. that’s REALLY close for this lens!
