when the sun really began to make its appearance there was a purplish glow to everything. however, when the camera is in auto white balance it doesn’t do a good job to show the true color. so, what i decided to try was keep it in auto white balance mode but customize it. in both shots below i’ve pushed it to the orange/purple. maybe a little to much…
i still like the results it gives. maybe i’ll try it again next time, just at a more subtle setting.
