Day two at the Gold Run hosted at Chena Lakes Rec. Center was just as fun as the first. This time the sun would dart behind a few clouds and then bounce out again.
We will start with a simple image of the trail.

Next we have the dog that looks like he (she?) has horns for ears.

The lead dog on the right looks like our dog, Cujo. The other great thing that happens when you are shooting with fast shutter speeds is freezing the snow as it gets stirred up into the air.

I think Cujo is a pansy compared to these pullers though.
Just don’t tell him I said that.

These dogs love to run! This is near the beginning of the race and the dogs have tons of energy.

Tongues abound!

One lead dog to the other, “Do you see that over there !%^*&”

It is amazing how little time you have to get images from the team as they pass by.

Tomorrow we’ll move onto even more shots filled with tongues and slobber!
Those dogs are having fun – you can see it in their faces. GREAT shots, Jason! Thanks for sharing.
