I can’t count the times I’ve driven by this canyon on the Park’s Highway. I think I first noticed it when I was in jr. high but I never stopped to investigate it. Its location is MP 186.3. Well, a couple of weeks ago my dad and I were driving back from Anchorage with nothing better to do so we stopped and did a little exploring.
The canyon looks like it’s been cut away by the water over the years and the walls are quite vertical. The walls are around 100-150 feet tall and are very impressive.
More to come!
