This is a canyon that my dad and I explored a few weeks ago on our drive back from Anchorage on the Parks Highway. Its location is MP 186.3.
As the snow melts or the rain falls the water cuts away at the canyon walls the trees and brush from above somehow find their way to the bottom. This Birch tree looks like it had fallen or had been washed down from upstream.
More to come!
