Altitude and Backdrops

We flew south from the BLM strip to place the Alaska Range in the background for the photographs.  At first we were flying to low to get the mountains in the background so we both continued in elevation to about 3,000 feet.

We ended up flying from 7:30 – 9:30pm which was still a bit early for truly excellent light.  Next time we’ll try to get closer to twilight (around 11pm – 3am these days).

More to come!

PS. Only 12 days to the Alaska Photo Workshop registration deadline.  Be sure to send me an email to signup soon!
