In a creative art, such as photography, it is always important to experiment.
Here’s my experiment from a few weeks ago. My first attempt was to hang the flash in the umbrella but the light wouldn’t disperse quick enough. I finally ended up putting the light source behind the table on the ground.
I should have used the Gary Fong diffuser when I hung it from the umbrella because that would have allowed it to scatter more quickly but it wasn’t until a few hours later that Ducky suggested the idea. 
Ducky!! Why couldn’t you read my mind from miles away not knowing what I was doing at that VERY moment!!
