Straight from the Camera RAW

Love this shot.  Shot at 90 degrees from the shining sun the polarizer had its greatest affect on the blue sky.  The sun was obviously from the left and the not so obvious sb-900 (doubly diffused) from the right, just out of the frame to fill in the shadows.  I experimented with different f-stops but f/13 gave the most pleasing  affect on the overall image.  The background...

Extension Tubes

I’m unsure if this is a type of clover but it had the most brilliant colors.  To get close I was using the extension tubes on the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8.  By placing the tubes between the camera body and the lens the photographer can get extremely close to their subject.  The more distance there is between the camera and lens the closer one can get to the subject.
